Bee Farm Tour: Beekeeping 101 - Sat 18 May

Get all a buzz at our bee farm when you learn what it takes to become a beekeeper.

Over a delicious morning tea of light pastries, tea, coffee, orange juice or sparkling Honey Mead , one of our Beekeepers will share the important of bees with a little of the history of Australian Beekeeping.


Learn how to set up your own beehive in your back yard and the equipment needed to start up.


In addition, you will take a sneak peek to our back of house production area to learn more about how your favorite sweet treat is prepared and labelled.  Along the way we will observe 3 hives, a sentinel hive, a top bar hive and a traditional working Langstroth hive.


This workshop that will leave you amazed and is sure to fascinate any budding beekeeper or honey lover!
