8 Reasons You’ll Love The House of Honey

We’re not just biased – we know we actually do some of the best honey in Perth (if our reviews are anything to go by!). But it’s not just our incredible liquid gold that has our customers buzzing and coming back for more.

Our broad offering extends far beyond the hive to include an onsite café and meadery, tours and workshops, health and beauty products and so much more.

We know you’ll simply adore The House of Honey and all it has to offer, so we’ve put together our guide of 8 reasons you’ll love The House of Honey, and will want to enjoy our services and products over and over again.

Dedication to Sustainability

Our traditional farming methods align with the national code for bio-security practices, ensuring good bee husbandry. We support clean energy resources, engage in a low carbon footprint, are chemical free in our beehives and repurpose all honey by-products into candles and tinctures, and actively participate in a number of other sustainable practices. Health Benefits of Our Honey

How is our honey any different to the ones on supermarket shelves? For starters, our raw, unfiltered, unprocessed honey is packed with natural antioxidants and is a natural energy boost too. Perfect for soothing sore throats, stopping hiccups and as a calming remedy before bed when taken orally, honey, when applied topically can help reduce rashes, burns and abrasions, and is a lovely face mask for softening and smoothing the skin.

Health benefits of honey from the supermarket that has been heat treated, refined, processed and filtered simply does not offer the nutritional benefits like House of Honeys’ does.

The House of Honey Taste

Harvesting at The House of Honey only takes place when our bees have capped the cells, which allows the honey to fully ripen and mature into an exceptional taste. Our pure, raw, unadulterated and unpasteurized honey lends itself to the pristine native bush of our Swan Valley’s eucalyptus trees to present a beautiful taste that changes with the seasons and conditions.

Our Ethos

Our chemical free, GM free, sustainable promise to our buzzy friends and our Earth is motivated by our love for bees, which in turn shines through in our delicious honey, mead and food, quality products and insightful workshops.

Range of Wellness and Beauty Products

If you love honey, we just know you’ll bee keen to try some of our sweet health and beauty products. We also carry a range of other products from suppliers we love and trust with similar ethos to our own.

Our Unsurpassed Purity

House of Honey specializes in unadulterated variety honeys that is not heat treated to ensure its integrity, flavour and nutritional value are maintained. We don’t mix or blend, ensuring a 100% pure, natural honey as nature and our bee friends intended.

Café, Meadery and Activities

Our honey is just the tip of the honey-dipped iceberg at House of Honey. From beeswax candle making workshops and beekeeping tutorials to bee farm tours, there is something to keep everyone entertained and educated most weeks. And why not pop into our café for a bite to eat, or sample some of our tastebud-tantalizing meads at our onsite meadery?

Community Commitment

At House of Honey, we contribute 1% of all honey sales to the Australian Honey Bee Industry Council, and $1 from all “Honey Bear” Honey to Free the Bears Inc.

Additionally, along with several other community engagements, we are committee members for the annual not-for-profit Honey Festival in WA.

As you can probably tell, we live, breathe LOVE bees and everything that comes with them. We’ve created a bee-autiful world we know you’ll love too and look forward to seeing you soon. Give us a buzz today.
